Question Oxygen Sensor Light ????

Hope this subject has not been beat to death, but...82SC, 88600 miles on the speedo. The OXY light comes on as I am driving. Would this be close enough to the 90000 service interval from other owner experience? Also, how does this light reset?
I plan on having the 90thou service done anyway, just like to have all the facts prior to phone calls from the service mgr.
Thanks,
Ron

the light is supposed to come on every 15K. but they're not real exacting. to reset, pull the speedo out, (leave the wires on), look about 10" down in the hole and you'll see a black plastic box with a white button. press the button with a long screwdriver until it clicks.

So what is the point of the light anyway? It can't mean you need to replace the O2 sensor every 15K, can it?
