I just bought a lot of OEM parts and these 2 pistons came along, can someone help me identify the parts.

The first looks like a 4-cylinder varient. 356/914. The next is a 911. Some simple bore measurments would help a bunch.

I would certainly identify them. You could really make somebody's day who was looking for a single P/C.

What's the easiest way to identify them?

I got the 84v54 is a 84mm 911T 2.4 but I can get any info on the first one.

I am sure it is a 4 cyl. piece. I just don't know if it is 914, or 356. If the other is a 2.4, and they were in the same pile, maybe from the same time, it could plausibly be a 914, or type 4 VW. I wish I knew more too realy help any further. Maybe a cross post in 914, or 356 forums would help if you have not already. And again, a simple bore measurment would be helpful. A good set of calipers will get you pretty close on the bore.
