Default Oil temp guage ?

I've purchased an oil temp / pressure gauge as an upgrade for my '81 911 SC. it has numbers on the left side (120 - 300) rather than just the color bar. I don't know what year it is from but the numbers on the back are 910 274 85/7.
can anyone tell me the correct sender unit I need in the motor block to provide the correct temp register for this gauge, please? the original sender unit causes the guage to register too high (about 215 under normal conditions)
any help is appreciated
thanks

thanks iceman, in fact I bought the pelican part and installed it when I bought the gauge. the oil temp registered very high all the time. over 250 just diving on the highway. scared the heck out of me at first until i realized it must be the sender. this gauge / sender matching seems to be a black art. is there a match list anywhere?

i don't even know if I have the right sender but mine when warmed up is about 180 . if you want I can post the number . I agree with the blacj art thing . They kept telling me I needed an "old" sender and I was not convinced i got the right one with the kit. But I guess I did ..
