Like everyone, I find that car to be quite unappealing and it is very far from my image of a dream 911…
Having said that, this car (as ugly as it is) does seem to have had a fair amount of effort lavished on it getting it into its current form. Details like the Speedster-style windshield do show that this was not a slip-shop back-yard conversion. I don’t know if the “six-figures” for the conversion tab mentioned in the ad is correct, but it certainly was not an insignificant amount. Plus, the motor at least is a turbo and at least looks good…
As always, even if you can get past the looks, the big question is the details… Was this a good car transformed into somebody’s idea of a bad-a** Turbo, or was it a sorry accident victim reincarnated?

Reminds me of the kid who bought my 72 E Targa. I had built to 2.7RS spec, MFI, S stacks, the whole shebang. Ran great, silver/black with original factory Recaros. He painted the car purple and recovered the seats in purple velvet.
