Default Clutch Slip...'07 Turbo 8kmiles

1st POST

My Porsche just got a Tubi Race Exhuast & EVOMSit600hp Flash.

"Sometimes, not always" Slips either in 2nd gear,4th, 6th gear. Usually happens when I snap the throttle in 2nd gear with sport mode switched on.

Lately it has not slipped. So is it time for a SACHS Stage 2? Or is it a Bearing Issue? Heard alittle bit about it on 6Speed but it was limited info, that some had this problem. Seemed like that the clutch is slipping but its another part thats faultly???

Any info would be great! Also Cost of a SACHS?

I think you'll get better responses on the turbo forum.

Hi,

Perhaps I can help,....

The stock clutch cannot hang onto a 600HP Turbo.

You need an uprated PP & disc along with the single-mass flywheel to ensurew durability. Its a whole kit that works very well.

There are several options here depending on how the car is used. Please call for additional details.

Boy am I glad I just have a 911....hate to have those kind of problems...600hp!
I think my rear wheels would just go through the cabin, up my a**, and though the windshield...nop, don't need those kind of problems.
