Default 89 porsche 911 buying ?

I am a happy 951 owner and am looking at a 911 fs. It's an 89, less than 30k miles, garage kept, immaculate porsche. I would appreciate all what to look for, typical class problems to be aware of, etc....
Give me a quick education on 89 911's. TIA

if your happy with the performance of your 951 stick with it , the 2.5 litre turbo 944 is a fine platform and wicked fast ..

Definitely get the book. These are pretty robust cars - I think the only common issues of any consequence is potential premature valve guide wear and broken head studs.

I have no intention of getting rid of my 951. My GF has a 996 cab and I think the 951 has a more comfortable ride. The 911 seller is not very responsive, not sure why, I haven't been able to get a look at the car.

well if you are looking at an adition to the stable that would be a fine car .. as mentioned only valve guides spring to mind as a possible hidden cost as it is tough unless you know oil consumption.
