Blaupunk Stereo Code
The stereo in the car I bought asks for the code. Does anyone know what thay code might be. I realize there is probably a thousand possibilities but maybe there is a universal code. Help Please

no but lift the trunk lid where the option code sticker is and see if it is written on there ... it is an old mechanics trick .. or see if it is written in the owners manual anywhere.

If it is original equipment you should be able to call the dealer give them the Vin or serial # of the radio and they should be able to look it up. I dont know how long they would have that info thou. I know when I work on cars and the customer does not know the code I call up the dealership and give them the radio serial number and they give me the code but that is with newer cars.

it is an algorithm they run on a password generator .. it is keyed to the serial number on he radio .. no need to look in records. The guys showed me when i had to have it done on my Audi , just took the radio and my car ownership with me to the dealer.

Great information...Thank you very much. New to the 911 world. Just sold my 928 to buy the 911. Dont know why I waited so long. Thanks for the info
