Post Carrera will not start

I rekeyed my ignition and the 87 911 Carrera will not start because: The fuel pump will not run because: the fuel pump relay will not energize because: the ground contact (85b) from the DME will not ground. The Bentley manual says that the switched ground is supplied only if CERTAIN parameters are met, such as the presence of an ignition pulse and a starter input. The starter input (#4) supplies 10.5 volts on cranking so it is met. What is the ignition pulse (maybe pin #25 or 26 or 27)? and are these two the ONLY parameters that must be met?

Here are the pin assignments:

The pin numbers relate to the following Relay pin numbers. 1=87, 2=87b, 3=85, 4=85b, 5=86, 6=30.

Don't worry about pins 1 and 4, they go to the 6 pin fuel injection socket in the engine bay.

Pin 2 is a red and green wire that runs in a harness to the fuse box, should get power when engine is cranking.

Pin 3 (pin 85 on relay) on the relay socket is a brown wire which is the ground and should measure 0 ohms when grounded at all times.

Pin 5 is black wire that should have 12 volts when the key is in the on or start position.

Pin 6 should read 12v at all times.

Hope that helps.
