Default chrome lip or brushed on black Fuchs?

The painter that was powder coating the center of my Fuchs just told me the heat of the process screwed up the brushed lip due to the clear coating on it. Unless he can find a paint to matched the brushed look the only other option maybe to powder coat the lip with shinny chrome paint.

An opinions on how this would look? thanks, Dwight Johnson

The brushed look is Anodizing. If the clear coat cooked off, I think you need to have them redone at a reputable place. Or polish them Scottrx7tt suggested.

You can always send it to Harvey Weideman or Al Reed to repair. Both are wizards when it comes to Fuchs refinishing.
