Default Will these wheels fit my car?

Hey, a really nice set of 19" Porsche wheels just fell into my lap. I'm not 100% sure of the make or model of these wheels, but I do know they are true 3 piece wheels.

The rears are 19x10
The fronts are 19x9
The offsets are in the ET50's

My car is '70 911T converted to a '74+ impact bumper bodystyle.

I was told the make might be 'Champion Motorsports'

They are 5x130, of course btw.

i think the offsets are all wrong, i think you need early offset wheels.

Thank goodness they won't-they'd look like hell if they did.

Do you really think they look 'that' bad?? Maybe it's because I'm a 20yr old kid, but I like them. I personally would have bought them in 17", but like I previously wrote -- they fell into my lap.

Why won't they fit? Too wide? Offset? Both?

Too wide. You can work thru 50mm offsets with longer studs and/or wheel spacers. But, it is a jury-rigged setup in my opinion. You will not fit 9" wheels in front. I believe that some have put 10" on the rear, but you will have to move oil lines and get the spacers specific to make it work.

19" diameter wheels on a t-bar 911 will look like something a bunch of clowns climb out of at a Ringling Bros. Circus.

Just doesn't match the car...Then when I was twenty I thought beer was the best drink ever invented...Your approaching this the wrong way. If you like the tires so much, its time to buy the car that goes with those tires.

No age card, please.... It's another sense. Either you have it or you don't. If you think these would look good on any 65-89 911 you don't have it. IMO, 19's don't even look "right" on anything until you get to the 996.

This whole thing I find quite funny ... it's your car , I think you may have had your question answered wether it fits or not . How it looks and what your car looks like is entirely up to you. Who cares what a bunch of guys you don't even know on a forum think, for that matter who cares what anybody thinks, life is short go do what makes you smile ...

You do make a valid point. We all tend to overstep the boundaries sometimes by offering opinions when not asked for them. However, this is what I think of when I imagine 19's on his car.

That's the deal with community forums.....you ask your question-you get answers and opinions. Kind of a two-fer.
