Rear Weltmeister Sway Bar Install Help Needed
Hi,
I am trying to install a rear Weltmeister Sway Bar on my '73 911. I cannot figure out how to use the U Clamp, slider, and Trapeziod shaped block to connect the bar bushings to the banana arms.
Can someone post or send me a picture of how these parts are Properly installed.
Here's a shot of what I have now.
Currently I have the u-clamp and the slider put in so there is an "O" that goes around the banana arm. This does not seem to make sense since I cannot clamp the "O" to the banana arm.
Thanks

I’ve only seen a couple of these actually installed. The U clamps & blocks attached to the torsion bar tub near the outside of each end. The sway bars attached to the block, not unlike the stock arrangement. The ends of the sway bars attached to drop links who’s other end used one of the bolts holding the control arm to the spring plate. This is unlike the stock arrangement of attaching the drop links directly to the banana arms.

David,
Thanks for your assist. I bought these parts used and when I took the brackets off of the sellers car, they were on the banana arms so I assumed that's where they went. The torque tubes make more sense. I was able to figure out the drop link ends and they are in place.
Regards,

Thanks to all who helped! <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" /> After 4 nights of frustration, finally got them in last week and did an AutoX on Sunday. For the first time, I was able to experience controlled oversteer.
Jason at Paragon was a real prince throughout my ordeal.
Now I need stickier rubber.... torsion bars... more hp... does this ever end?
