Rattle noise on Cab
Hello All:
Lately my 87 T/L Cab top making a lot of ratlle noise, especialy when driving on rough road. I have checked and tight all screws/hex screws, but still does not help.
Can some one please help

Mine does the same thing ...though not all the time.
Sometimes cycling the top down and then up cures it.
i think the noise is connected to the cross bow not riding on the rubber spacer/bumpers correctly. Or maybe its just torsinal flex or combination of. Like you, i tightened anything and everything i could and that seems to help...for awhile. The only surefire cure is top-down but even here in SoCal...btw i didn't mention it but i have the dreaded power top javascript: x()
