Depends on how bad they're worn. Also, if they are directional, make sure they're mounted correctly.

The tires never moved. All I did was swap the 6" rim from the rear pass. side with the 7" rim from the front driver side.

Wheel shimmy is bad. In these cars it will put more wear and tear on your steering rack, bearings, etc.

You should definitely have the wheels balanced. The place that sold you the tires may do a free re-balance. It is not uncommon for me to go back at least once after buying new tires to have them re-balanced a second time during the lifetime of the tires.

If these are directional tires and were not mounted correctly to begine with, they need to be remounted.

and even tires that ave been mounted and balanced and are NOT dierectional , once running one way can have issues when they are put on a car and run the other way. I think this will be your problem . Your right rear that is now your left front and vice versa are now running in oposite directions.

I would suggest talking to a tire expert and explaining your issue ... he may remove and remount.
