From one depression to another, I have almost a half decade at Porsche ownership. And what a great ride it has been, at least when things were running. 1st body repair, Porsche. 2nd engine rebuild Porsche (1st was a 1954 Le Mans A/H). 1st all 4 wheels off the ground at 120mph, Porsche. 1st off road spinout, Porsche. The car I cant stay away from, Porsche. The Alfas of the 1950s and 60s were great cars but the 1966 911 put an end for the A/R. Jags were cool to look at but I hated working on them. The boxer design made sense.
In today’s terms I am not an old man, however, I would like to impart some advice from these 7 decades. Take care of your teeth and back. No matter how hard you push the envelope and risk all with astounding stupidity, a surprise may come to you with a birthday that is not only unintended but much unexpected. nice to have as much working as possible

Happy Birthday I will be 67 next month and my first Porsche was a 66 912 bought in 1968 and there have been many since then. First became a Porsche nut, well much earlier when the first 356 appeared....... and still want one.
