heated windscreen
My 82SC has heated screens both front and rear,
There is a dual switch on thre dash which operates exactly the same as the front and rear foglights, ie; twist & pull.
I have managed to get the rear screen demister working, but not the front where is the relay and fuses etc, and yes, the front screen has the elements embedded in it i've checked!

Without looking, I seem to recall somewhere that the rear view mirrors are heated. Would that not be the second part of your defrost switch? Just guessing. As to the elements in your front windscreen,I have no clue except antenna? Not on my 82!

New Mex, I only have the handbook in German, and I was told by the guy who sold it me that it was the front screen heater, i think i'll get the translator page out and confirm that.
