Default 76 911

A friend is considering selling his 76 911. It has about 106K miles on it, So Cal car. I really don't know much else about it, but it looks to be in pretty good condition.

What is the approximate selling price he should expect? What are the important features/service items that people would be interested in knowing?

Thanks

if it's a 76 it is a 2.7 lire and they are goona wann know first offf if the engine has been torn down and some sort of time-cert instaled to stop the headstuds from pulling out. That is the biggie and to do properly requires a pretty good tear down. Then they will want to know if the thermal reactors are gone . those are the biggies that I would ask outside of the normal stuff

I have a 76 911s targa. I also have the original engine block in athe cabinet in my garage cause I have a real 2.7 killer 1967S cast block in the car and it screams. this is the Talbot Yellow targa Stephen Kaspar built with coil overs and it drives like a dream. Im actually thinking about selling my 930 CAB and just keeping this car. the factory magnisum blocks are trash. you will need major work to keep them together, as theiceman stated above, but for not much more, you can have a 78 or newer Carrera.
