Default Aux connector for Ipod

I'm new to the board and don't know if this had been posted before, but would appreciate any help.

I have a 2006 911 C2S. With the current console, factory, stereo, is it possible to have an auxillary connector placed to play MP3's without altering the factory stereo?

Only $679.95? What a deal. One could purchase an iPod-ready receiver and have plenty of change left over, yes?
