2 outta 3 ain't bad......ditch the Cups!

In my opinion, but echoed by many (and 3 out of 4 dentists), large offset wheels just don't look good on torsion bar 911's. Our cars need some dish, or smaller offset wheels to look right.

Good eyes Peter! I guess that all of our opinions are academic then, as the evil handling car is going to end up in a ditch and wheel choice will be a moot point.

I really like the second picture- it has a look of strength and balance.
I would not want to clean the rims in the 3rd pic

"Rims" are for poseurs or homeboys. I think our cars all have wheels.

I think the picture of the fuchs could have been better. That may be why the low marks from some. I really never thought I'd like picture number two, but I think it's the picture, not the wheels. Take a brighter picture number one where you can actually see the wheels and you will have a winner all the way around.

+2. Spoken like a true Porsche owner.

Interesting point earlier about ABS offsets. It's hard to tell from that angle how much offset Pic #2 wheels have. Otherwise, they have a technical look to them in "plan view" that looks very nice.

Have you considered a Fuch's wheel? LOL just kidding nothing beats the look of Fuchs in my opinion and those 17inch knock offs floating around give you a lot more choices in rubber. Never ever lose that custom rear deck lid holder. The Flyers gave all season ticket holders a signed Lindros stick about 10 years or more ago. I use it to hold up the garage door on our spare garage since the spring broke.

Gees you guys .. I have to be a damn Photographer now too ?

Well when I go to my weekly meet Tomorow we usually have a few real Photographers there who spent more than 8.00 on a camera.

I will post a different pic .. hopefully my spray can Job is still on there by then ..
The 17s do give a lot more rubber selection for sure.

I also vote for Fuchs...

as much as I like the Cup wheels, those belong on a 964, 944, 968, or a 928... don't look right on that car, imho of course...

3rd photo? errr... nope.
