Talking High Mileage 911T

I was walking to my car from work the other day and came across a very nice looking 911T. While I was admiring the car, the owner came up. The car was yellow and was a 1969 model with a very nice wood Nardi steering wheel. The current owner was the second owner and has had the car for over 15 years. He just recently had the tranny and engine rebuilt at a tad over 300K on the odo. Something to think about when you are wondering whether that SC with 125K on it will hold up. I wish I had taken a picture - it was a neat car.

Hi Bill: I always enjoy seeing A Porsche or any car for that matter that's been well taken care of for years and years. It seems you can find this love afair with Porsches more than any other car. I saw one today, a Silver 356 with a gray haired owner that must have been well into his 60's.
There just Cool cars that make passing thru this life a little more exciting.A good thing to keep around.
Cheers <img src="graemlins/wave.gif" border="0" alt="[byebye]" />
