Guys does the clutch cable need to be disconnected at the pedal cluster for adjustment (82 sc 915) or just at transmission?

welll actually .........

I could not get the adjustment i needed at the gearbox end when I did mine . so I had to go back to the clevis pin and make an adjustment there . After I did that I was able to get it in range so I could adjust it with thetwo nuts at the gearbox. All that said i was installing a new cable at the time ..
