TYP 911/56 engine identification
Hi, I need help with identification of a special (race) engine 2,7 litres with TYP 911/56 stamped on it. Can't find that code on my books.

Hey I found that code on J.Barth book : it says it's a 916 2,4 liter engine. But then I look at Dr. Johnson 914 book and he tells another code for the 916 2,4 and 2,7 engines.
Any solutions?
