Default loose injectors

I have a 75 911 and the first 2 injectors on the right side of the engine a loose.
I can actually turn them with my fingers.I undid the locking nut and try to tighten them but they don't seem to get tight. They are not leaking at all.All the other injectors are tight. Is this normal? Is there a trick to getting them tight?

I think the locking nut just fastens the fuel line to the injector. As long as you are not leaking i woldn't worry about it. I replaced the vitron type washers in mine. You can just physically pull the injector right out ( i used chanel lock wrench ) and put new washers in. i lubricated mine with a bit of gas . Slid it onto the injector , themn pushed the injector back in.

There are also injector sleeves that sit inside the aluminum runner , they may be a bit more challenging and are also held in with an oring. my sleeves were pressed in and the aluminum peened over to stop them coming out. It was a fun half day project for me that i was very pleased with .
