Default '74 - '77 US Carrera, Bilstein shocks standard?

Gang -

I'm now researching 74-77 Carreras for my specs database project. Buyer's guide literature like Leffingwell's book and the Red Book both state that Bilstein shocks were standard on all US Carreras for that generation. However, I've found conflicting info in the PET and Tech Specs booklets which indicate that Boge may have been standard on those cars with Bilsteins optional.

And the answer is?

Thanks,

Boge's were standard. Koni or Bilstein were interchangably used as the Sport shock option.

When I ordered my 1977 911S I had to order the gas Bilsteins as a special item. Boge was pretty much standard. In fact, Koni was not even an option in 77.
