Post SEATS , is there a difference ?

I am soon looking @ Purchasing another 911 (1973).

After the purchase i will be looking to change my early seats (front) for a late 80's seat.

Ok my question:

Is there a difference between 911 and 944 seats.

They both look the same but are they different ?

I would guess the rails are different, maybe ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

JPC, the main difference is manual or electric. Most of the sliders and hardware interchange, and the seats should interchange between early 911s and 944s, as the bracket spacing/bolt holes are similar.

As you may notice during your "hunt for the ultimate seat upgrade" - the seats used in a 944 and 911 Carrera (1984-89), for example, and if my memory serves me...are the same.

Hello

The 944 and the 911 shared the same seats in each MY.
Interchanging the seats from different MY isn´t always a straight bolt on.
