Default Flood!

My 2006 911S and 2007 Cayman S were flooded in the Houston floods last night. The water got within about 3 inches of the door handles. Hopefully I'll get a good insurance settlement and will be getting two new cars.

It's been a bad day. I had no idea the drive home last night would be my last in that car.

I'll miss it.

Dude, sorry to hear of the loss. What a shame. Did your house sustain a lot of damage. Are you and your family okay or have you been displaced as a result?

Damn, I would be crying if I were you. Time for some aircooled 911's.

Sorry to here about your loss

At least they were totaled out via mother nature instead of an accident that resulted with injuries.

Hope the inusrance claim goes well.

OK, they were totaled. It looks like we came out pretty good. No damage to the house and we got more than what we owed on them from the insurance company. I'm thinking of replacing the 911 with one I found at a place called Euroclassics in Virgina. Could you guys give me your opinions on this one. Has anyone dealt with Euroclassics before?

Sorry. I just realized I posted this in the air-cooled forum. Could an admin move this to the 997 forum?

That is a LOT of money for a non-S car.

Just my two cents, but for that kind of money you could buy an excellent example of a 3.2, 964, 993 and have plenty of money to spare for repairs and upgrades. If you like watercooled 911's more power to you. The older 911's hold there value really well and are a lot of fun to drive and own. Good luck.
