Default '74 Euro Carrera...stone guard???

Does anyone definitively know if the Euro Carreras came with the stone guard treatment on the valance, side and rear rockers? Mine has them and I don't know if it is original.

Thanks,

Jeff

Default stone guard

my 74, which I acquired all of 2 weeks ago, looks like your photo. 2" wide rubber/plastic piece and lightly textured white section below.

That texturizing can be done after the fact. There is a rubberized material that you mix in with the paint and shoot it like that, leaving such a finish. I had my 81 stuff redone on the front spoiler, the rocker panels, and on the lower half of the rear fender extensions.

And to think I thought we were talking about this kind of stone guard. What was I thinking?
