How to remove Ruf front valence with oil cooler

Well, all that is left after re-doing the front end and brakes is to remove the front valence and repaint. Mine happens to be a Ruf valence with a front mounted oil cooler. Anyone BTDT? Do I have to crack the lines to the front mounted oil-cooler? Even though I haven't looked closely yet, you probably have to. Thanks for the input...
