I think that was a great write up for anyone wanting to try this. It does not suit my personal taste and I think my 78 looks better with the period correct incandescent glow rahter than the post 90's hi tech look. But if that is that is the desired effect good job Draco , I am sure quite a few people will be trying this ..

Hey Ice,

No Plobrem, I like Rice .

Absoltuely, not for Concours/Purists. But it is nice to see the complete gauge at night now.

When they develop incandescent looking El-Wire, I may switch it out. Maybe I can mix in some Yellow, But it will probably give me Lime Green tone.

LOL,

Jim

Well, seeing your car tonight, I think it's the best gauge light I've ever seen in old 911. Stock toyota now has that color, just a little brighter. So yours is not rice are all. I love it. And it's not too bright. In fact, it would be even better if it can be a little brighter than that.

Looks great! My gauges definitely need an illumination upgrade.
Not concerned about being period correct as much as I am about being able to see my gauges at night.
This would make my night time driving more enjoyable.
Thanks for the write up an pics.
