Oh no! What have I gotten myself into .... again?!!!
As if being on six forums is not enough, I joined Rennlist!
Hello RL Ladies & Gents! Name's Doug and I just got my first Porsche, ever! Thought I'd reward myself with an exciting car on my 25th year driving. It's nothing really fancy, compared to most P-cars on this huge board: An '06 Carrera 2, with under 11k miles, in imaculate condition inside and out. It was much loved and well taken care of by the previous owner. Still has that delicious new leather scent. Oh, and the drive .... gotta love the precision of this fine machine!
Perusing this site and seeing all the beautiful pics of the 928s and 944s brings back fond memories of my dreams in H.S. and college back in the 80's and 90's. Glad that there are talented people restoring and keeping these beauties alive.
Some pics of my new baby:
Also wanted to share with you one of my hobbies -- offroading. This is my '07 Toyota FJ Cruiser with 2-3" lifts by Donhahoe Racing front coil-overs and Icon piggy-back rear shocks, 33" BFG T/A K/Os, TRD supercharger, aFe C.A.I., Magnaflow catback exhaust, ARB Safari Snorkel, All-Pro bumpers and sliders, Warn winch, and some other stuff. I've always done my own minor maintenance works on the FJ -- oil, filter, rotation, etc. Hope to learn to do my own work on the 911 also, so that I don't get raped by the dealer. Here are some pics of the FJ from my trip to Utah this past Christmas.
Still looking for a good daily driver.
Well ... good to be here and now I've got to hit the theads and start learning more about Porsches.

Very nice!
I also am new to Rennlist, but not to cars of all types.
I'm on my second Porsche, (first was a 1988 924S), and offroading has been a staple for a long time - though the bug is for sale...
Welcome!
Jeff

Yeap...try the 997 forum. This site is for real men (and women) that still know how to change the oil, fix a flat, adjust the valves, and love the smell of gas/grease/oil coming out of their air cooled engines. BTW, welcome!

Welcome to the Porsche community! I like your taste in colors.
