In the past, I have used Halon. The last extinguiser was used on a car fire on a stranger's car at the side of the road. I thought the environmental whackos had successfully eliminated Halon, because I have not seen it adverised. I now have been schlepping ext with Purple K (potassium bicarb) from the posts above, it sounds like this is N.G.- anyone care to comment? If halon is avail, I guess that would continue to be my choice.
