Default Horn issue

Here's my problem. I installed a MOMO about a week ago. It should be noted that I only have one black wire coming from the disk that cancels the turn signal. I had to remove this from the old wheel and install on the new MOMO. Everything was fine for about a week and then everytime I turn right the horn beeps. I removed the wheel and found no broken wires etc. however I did notice that the disk was not seated flush. I repaired this problem and everything was fine for about a mile and the problem started again. I know that something is grounding but I cannot find it. If anyone has had a similar issue please explain what I need to do.
Thanks to all in advance

The metal tab that cancels the turn signal might be bent outward or inward, contacting the steering column somewhere.

I checked everything I could think of. Kind of funny how the most obvious is never seen. I know that it has to be disk that cancels the turn signal but never thought about the tab itself.

Thank you.

Found the problem, it was the horn contact. The copper strip has a slight hairline crack in it and when I turn it must ground. I was able to bet a used one as they are NLA.

Thanks for all the advise

I installed a MOMO too and everytime I turn I can hear the horn wire moving around, I'm sure you other MOMO guys know what I'm talking about. Is there anyway around this or just have to live with it?
