You guys are Geniuses. I put alittle grease on the rubber insert... put it in just enough to remove the socket and remove the rubber boot... and in like butter... all three on the drivers side took me 5 minutes total. Ill still buy the tool.. but thanks guys... I wanted to drive this weekend.. and now i can...

Lithium grease (just a little) is good advice,..works like a charm...Pete was dead on.....

I still use the tool from the kit,..just making sure the rubber is good to go.....I can still get a good enough feel from it....
