poor gas millage could be caused by it running rich which would consume more gas. As running lean will really shorten the life of your engine .. I imagine lousy gas millage may only shorten the life of the cash in you wallet

Got the sensor installed...had to weld it in..no cat in the exhaust. just drove from Florida to NM and averaged 26 on the highway...seems all is well. Mech said my CO and idle are fine...Griffith's AC is awesome and kept me chilly all through the Florida summer.

02 sensors should be considered as replace at or about 60k miles of use. Bad 02 sensor will cause your car to run rich and ruin the cat. 02 sensor a lot cheaper than cat. And a good 02 sensor will give better mileage.

Regarding Griffith's...Porsche independent shop mech here in Albuquerque also said the Griffith's was the best he's seen...quality, ease of installation, and performance...that makes three (2 independent and one dealer mech) that I have spoken with about AC...
