Some time back someone posted a source for OEM windshields at a reasonable price...Is this a chain and do you know if this is available in Albuquerque, NM? I think they were quoting around $300-$350. Thanks in advance... rayjay

I would consider after-market, but I've heard that they don't fit (airleaks), are thin (causing gaps between the windshield and the dash), and are made of cheap glass. I'm not familiar with PPG...enlighten me...

One thing you do want to do when you replace your windshield is to use a new PORSCHE rubber gasket (around $35-$40). I have heard of non-Porsche gaskets not fitting as well. Perhaps that contributed to what you've heard about non-Porsche glass.

[quote]Hey Chuck, can you also get one with the antenna wire in the glass?

If you get Porsche replacement glass, they only come with an antenna in the glass.
