Default '73 911S targa going back to Germany

This car came up for sale locally a week ago and sold today for $42,000. The buyer is in Germany. He is getting a great car. 226,000 miles but looks brand new.

How cool is that car? A legit survivor - something that's becoming very rare. MFI intact, Carrera Tensioners, correct seats, carpets and door panels/map boxes; I see many little things that are technically correct - that car has definitely known love. Auf Weidersein!

The seller is a local broker and speed shop owner. He has seven Porsche variants on the floor. A 914/6 2.4L is only 30 feet from this car being prepped for track us.

Wow. What a treat to see the old cars intact. We have fun with our cars like the "chip" thread, track prep.... etc. I could guarantee any of us could get in that car, go around the block and when we get out, have a smitten grin. Thanks for posting the pics. Its always a treat to see these cars.
