Call one of the locally owned rental companies. They usually will rent various pullers. We rent posi-lock pullers here.

a few years ago I was at the mechanic who had rebulit my 915 tranny. he had a big G50 on his bench just finising a rebuild. I asked what the tranny was from and what the issue was. he replied his customer broke 3rd gear ... again. he pulls out a huge gear with about 6 teeh sheared off.

broke 3rd again .. I ask.

this G50 was from a 996 TT full race. he had built that engine and it dyno'ed 830 hp and I forget the peak torque. the customer is very agressive racer and just hammers 3rd gear too hard frequently.

Looks like brute force and ignorance has again won the day.

Maybe I can make this a bit easier on you. What do you want for the entire thing?

Let me know when you have some time.
