Red face Fuel pump specs?

After checking the fuel pump, I believe the pump is worn out and not working up to par! (Very noisy as well!)....so I am looking to replace it, does anyone know the specs and what brand/model I should go with? This is for my 75 911S, 2.7 CIS.
Thanks. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

From Porsche, it looks like it's part number 911.608.110.02 (1975 CIS). I'd call Hendrick Porsche as they discount 20%-30% 800-315-8193. You can check third party vendors for the Bosch equivalent pump (Bosch makes most of the Porsche pumps). Paragon Products (800-200-9366) shows Bosch part number 0.588.254.985 for 73-76 CIS for $256.88.

I was able to replace the fuel pump and the engine cranked and after some tweeking...it's running pretty close to perfect! Still need to adjust the CIS and timeing I think, other than that I am back on the streets!

H.D. Smith, saw your post about the fuel pump. I have a 1975 911 Carrera 2.7 CIS. My fuel pump is noisy and sometimes when I stop hard at a red light the RPM's dip almost as if the engine is about to stall and the generator light comes on. Then the the rpm's come back to 950.

What type of symptoms did you have? I'm thinking of replaceing my pump and fuel lines.

Regards
Eric
