I see a few Pelican parts BBS regulars in here.....traitors!

Very glad to have yet another good source of information on my car.

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Leland, I am in the Air Force, I have a '79 SC targa on which I am currently rebuilding the motor because of a snapped headstud. If any of you have rebuilt a motor or are in the process, I'll probably get to know you pretty well.

OK - first - have your brother save pics of your car in either JPG (JPEG) or GIF formats and send them to you. Next, save those pics on your computer..Next, go to the frames view of this Board

Rennlist Forums and click on "Upload Photo". From your computer - you can upload and post pics in either JPG or GIF format. Simply follow the on-line instructions.... It has been a feature of Rennlist for a long time...

Thanks brian, no the car is still not back together... But I am making progress!

I have bought almost everything I will need to put it back together.
$3400 dollars worth anyway.

Now I am waiting for my crankshaft and rods to get back from the machine shop so i can reassemble the case. I already have the oil pump/intermediate shaft back in... and I'll buton it back up after I get the crank assembled.

The CIS system is complete and ready to go back on... I am also having my new flywheel and pressure plate balanced to my crank and rods. I am getting real excited! Finally after 6 months, she's starting to go back together!
