Default My Polished Fuchs (sorry Poland)

I will take some outdoor pics the next time the sun comes out, but I wanted to thank Scott for selling these to me and show him how they look on my car.

7s in the rear and 6s up front.

Added new Nexen 205/45/16 tires and I hope they don't rub my narrow fenders. A couple of years ago I tried a set of 15" 7s, but the 205/55 tires rubbed too much under hard acceleration and cornering.

I painted my centers satin black and they look really good with the other black trim on my desert beige car. It's a matter of taste. I think your wheels look good too.................but really it's all about what YOU think!

Cool

Thanks, I totally agree. See my black Fuchs in my Avatar, but they are all 6"

Variety is the spice of life and right now I'm REALLY liking these new wheels!

I like them much better on your car than mine. The "pearl" and polish work much better than the silver and polish on mine. Scott

Either way looks nice. The great thing about Fuchs is that there are several dif ways you can paint or polish them to suit your tastes. So whatever floats your boat is what matters. I voted to keep them as is.

I think it compliments the other chrome on the car rather well

What grit to remove the clear coat, and then what grade wet emery paper do you suggest?

I can't take any credit for the polishing and/or chrome work done to these wheels, but maybe Scott (above) can comment on the process done to these wheels.

What I can say is that these 16/205/45 tires fit the 7" rear wheels without rubbing. I like the lower gear ratio, wider stance, and the way they fill the fenders. Now I don't need to consider wider fenders anymore!

Nice! That's a '76 or earlier with the smoker's windows, right? In '77 they sealed them shut.
