I thought Porsche was stuck at 40 percent, but knew they had to take control in order to make their gamble pay off.
Now they are over 50%. Lower Saxony owns 20%, and Porsche won a court challenge to remove their ability to block Porsche from taking control of the company. So does this mean Porsche controlls VW outright?
OK, nevermind. Porsche needs to acquire 75% to gain control of Volkswagen and protect it's investment. Until then, they are blocked by LS in theory.

Its sad to see the amount of pressure anyone gets from this financial crisis. I just hope the whole wolrd gets out of this and we are able to live a less stressful life and enjoy what we have. Its kind of ironic, I am happy to see Porsche growing but sad to see the affects that the situation has brought to others, even though it was not intentional. Life is becoming a sharper double edged sword these days
