"any solution to the MAF question?"

First off, that conversion system was basically a Mickey Mouse mod requiring
individual tweaking with each installation. Second of all, the mod results in
questionable results, i.e. There're no factual data that the MAF mod adds any
performance gain by itself (w/o "pushed timing").

So, for those that have it, given its reliability, it's best to revert back to the stock
AFM setup. For those considering buying one, whether new/used, don't waste
your money.

Bottom line: It's just another "performance chip" marketing effort with greater
sales dollars.

I now have instructions for the Autothority MFS system if you still need them.

No, actually just noting how much Rennlist bandwidth gets wasted by those
who really never contribute other than seeing their B.S. ramblings being
posted, i.e. As is the case for the previous poster.

Bottom line: There's the "other" place for those that do such!
Now I see why these guys think of you as a DBag.
You are...

Based on Loren's "infamous" ridiculous argument against chipping Carreras, I'd not put much stake in what he says about anything, even though he may be right.

Now....get ready, I'm sure we'll see his usual response... a quote of this statement by me, and then some venomous attack on my credibility or some comment about Pelican or something else.

Hmm, with all of the negative talk about Pelican, I wonder if they stopped using "its" (if I used the term "his", that would imply he's human) services as a vendor?

It is no more all-knowing than the rest of us. It just takes longer to explain. I guess that is what passes for "Consulting" these days. Hard to find good help.

A little bird once told me to look at a thread on Pelican where he/she/it was quoting me. Way to funny.

Right! And get lead down the "path" by all the "experts" with non-factual data.

Bottom line: Let's not do this poster a disservice by sending him to the "dark side"!
I posted this on Pelican and got some very informative and helpful feedback, some from an ex-Autothority employee who actually worked on this setup. Why do you guys refer to Pelican as the "dark side"?

"We" don't...."it" does, and "it" isn't one of "us guys". That is why I initially suggested it. Not to take away from this board, but there are sheer numbers of 911 maniacs over there. Sure, that comes with a price, but when someone is looking for something like this, the law of averages says that Pelican will offer up some results.

oh you know, we are like a mad monk squad of 911 owners. Just some of us are more madder than others. Pelican is a great resource. You won't hear me bad mouth them, other than sticking to facts.
