Post simple window switch instructions?

saw coupla old posts on wiring for window switch..didnt help me... colors different..

I have an 85 targa... all switches have been pulled off..

wire colors are one brown, 2 red (joined) and two blue.. heeeeeeeeeeeelp

Ironspidey...my best advice would be to get ahold of a Haynes manual for the SC/Carrera - seriously.

I have one and the wiring diagrams, while a bit cryptic, provide the info you will need.

Do you have manual windows now and you want to convert to power??

Help us out with what you're trying to do here.

nope. i have power. And the 5 wires for each switch are in the right holes stickin out..... just need the color code to the switch pin number....

well brown is ground...

sorry, don't have my bentley manual handy, but here's the wiring diagram for an 82SC from pelican

I'll check mine tomorrow for you. The red and brown are power and ground-either top or bottom, so long as you're consistent. The other two are up/down, which you can work by trial and error or if you're not into adventure, I'll try to post.

The double red is just to get power to the other switch.

Here, looking at the switch from the interior of the car

Driver's side- Red top, Blue mid left, Blue/black mid right, double red bottom left, double black bottom right

Pass wind switch on drivers door- brown, top left, double red top right, red/blue (black?)mid left, red/white mid right, double red bottom

Pass door switch- red/white top, blue mid left, blue/black mid right, red/black bottom left, brown bottom right.
