Post installing 3.2 DME engine in 74 911

I am installing a 1986 3.2 in my 1974 coupe.
I have the wiring harness for the dme unit and have a good plan on installing everthing.
My question is, are there any gotchas that I should look out for?
Like it won't start with out jumpering the wires that go to the alarm modual, etc

Hello

You will hit several issues. Right now to start with the basics. You know how to mount the DME unit ?

You know how to run the wirelooms ?

You know how to modificate the main wireloom ?

You know how to mount the ignition coil ?

You know that you have to cut out the trany for the sensors ?

You know that you better update all fuellines and the fuelfilter ?

You know your fuelpump will work but not perfect ?

You know you need a external oilcooler ?

If you browse the old 911 archives and search for Cary Kutter you will get answers to the most. Also mail Cary direct he is now on the last stage to perfection.

Grüsse
