Default Corroded bumpers

What is the gold standard for repairing corrosion just below the impact rubbers on the front bumpers ? Any specific issues I should take into consideration ? Tx

Do you have pictures?

I would imagine the repair to be the standard; sand off corrosion, prime, paint.

No pictures at hand right now. The aluminium is supposed to be difficult to repair (filling) and wouldn't hold very long, so I heard at least. Would like to hear some expert opinion.

Some pictures. Cureable or not ? Should I simply be looking for a replacement ?

Hmmm, almost looks like the bumper had a respray in it's life and had a poor prep. Just a guess though.
