Hey Guys,
I was in São Paulo, Brazil last month and had the pleasure of visiting those guys from Chamonix. They make great replicas. I'm bringing 2 kits from Brazil next month and plan to built one for myself during the next 8-12 months. It's gona be a great project. My brother has a VW Dealer in Brazil and he sells the short block VW boxer engines for 900 reals (about $360). The other kit is for a friend who owns a Porsche shop in Ft. Lauderdale. There is also a guy who imports and sell these kits in California. All the links are on the home page. Mostly in portuguese.
These replicas are of a very good quality.

Leandro,
I love these replicas. If done well, they are very nice to own and drive. I've been looking for a pre-owned one for sometime now. Anything decent seems to cost as much as a nice 356 cab, however. Good luck on your project.

They should be good replicas. If I am not mistaken, they should be based on the Beck's spyder replicas, since Beck had the main parts manufactured in Brazil. I go to Brazil quite often, so last time while there I attended a Porsche Clube do Brasil event and saw a couple there. They looked quite good. It can't be a hard kit to put together since the 550 is inherently simple. I just saw a spyder replica here in Arizona last month and it had everybody staring at it.

George, who is not known for his aesthetic discrimination or appreciation of the history of sports car racing, must have inadvertently clicked on a Corvette website before he made his comment. Try to forgive him.

Nice one Kevin
ALthough, in my opinion 50's, 60's and even up until -72 (last one) Vettes are truly a great looking cars. Especially those early 60's
But, we'll forgive him.
