I wondering if ethanol has something to do with it since the day before the local gas station just started adding that crap to the fuel.

I'll try that and then test the accumualtor to see if it holds pressure.

Just an update - Time flies during tax season...

I removed the Optima Battery and charged it up, voltage was a bit low from sitting for a few weeks.

Filled up the tank with Shell gas-stuff with the Nitrogen.

Took a nice long 300 mile drive-Italian Tune Up. Running out of road kept me from hitting the rev limiter in 4th

Filled up with another tank of gas and drove another couple hundred miles during the week and all is well.

I always carry a spare DME Relay just in case I spot Carrera on the side of the road that needs one

Another update from a few months ago....

Once in a while I was still having a hard time starting if it sat for a few hours plus I was having a voltage drain.

Turned out to be a faulty fuel pump relay that was probably activing the CSV when it is not needed flooding the engine upon start up.

Now it starts like it should and the fuel pump does not turn on until the engine is turning over like it should
