rome, When you get tired of that car...call me first! That is the color I was looking for when I found my GR 95, 993. I have grown to love the Red, but...OMG!

All these gorgeous blue Carreras!!! I want one. I especially am lusting over the midnight blue, slate blue, and marine blue. Are those factory colors? I've seen the diamond blue and venetian blue, but not those others on Carreras. Sweeeeetttttt! Black was originally my first choice, but if I could find those colors, that would be first choice.

Somebody sell me theirs....

How about more pics of those cars, please.

Aaah, Thanks... You know, aftewr 10+ years, the elements/washing can take their toll on the paint. So, I recently had a concours level detailer to a full "paint correction" to polish out the swirl marks.

If you like the Ocean Blue color, you can really see it after this guy worked his magic. I thought it looked good before, but I had no idea how extensive the swirls marks and fine scratches were, and how it detracted from the quality of the paint. It's showroom new now, and sitting covered in my garage since the work was done.

Here's the link (but caution there are LOTs of detailed pics showing the whole process and the end result):

My blue has a purplish tinge when you look at it from a certain angle in the sun. It was quite a surprise.

Bill, you're not allowed to post pics of that beautiful car anymore since you sold it before I could get my hands on it.

Truth be told, Prussian is my favorite of the blues; I just wish I could get a G50 in that color.

rome,
Thanks, I saw that great thread eariler and have it bookmarked as I am going to do a paint detail here at home this winter in the garage. I did not know it was Ocean Blue. I have purchased the Meguiars polishes and waxes and their orbital buffer. I'll start on my wife's 10 yr old Expidition (dark green) and learn the process on it. Keep that car covered!

I can't get your picture up in my quote of your post, not sure why.

Your car is exactly what I'd love to have. That beautiful blue on a targa body. What year is yours?
