Default What is this part (gear 930.105.136.0R) with picture

Hi,

This part came with an engine I bought on ebay in parts, I can't figure out what it is. It's aluminum and in good shape. the shop I got it from built some serious race cars. Google does not help.

930.105.136.0R

The other side is hollow and looks like it would bolt onto the end of a crankshaft.

There is a "O" shown on one gear, I guess for timing?

THanks!

Center (drive) gear for an intermediate shaft. The shaft is driven off the crank (by the gear shown), turns the timing chains and drives the oil pump...

The "0" is for backlash setup...

Your "part number" is only a casting (manufacturing) number.

That's it, the intermediate gear, the 930 casting number threw me off. Thanks!

Now we know Pete loves the cars more than politics. In OT that avatar would get you a black eye from Pete. Good self control my man.
