Post heating problem

please help my 89 3.2 taga has a heating problem hot air is constantly comming into the cab on the drivers side only (i am hoping it is only a stuck heater valve) can anyone advise

I just posted a similar query. I do not have lots of heat but I do have some. I am hoping someone has a idea. What I do in order to stay cool is disconnect the heat exchanger to heater control box flexible 1.5" hose located above the drive shaft inside the driver's rear wheel (the bottom releases easily with a band clamp), move it off the duct and let it hang for the season. Obviously, you are without heat on the driver side but the passenger side heat works fine. When someone can give me or you and answer for a "real" fix, I'll just keep on doing my get dirty fix and stay cool.

Check to see if there is any debree stuck on top of the heat flapper that would cause it to not open or shut. This was the culprit on mine
