Default 84' 911 Coupe FS

Hi to all, I want to restore my '63 coupe so I will attempt to sell my '84 Coupe. I have tried to post pix but cannot as I still can't figure it out, perhaps I never will.
This is a dandy car with just a bit over 75K. I bought it at the beginning of the this year with the ususal plans to keep it until I couldn't shift any longer. Ahhh but life gets in the way.
Rudy Red
Black interior
Leather front seats
New Bilstein Sports
Spoilers, Front and Back
Fuchs
Tires have 1000 miles
Except for the radio......car is bone stock. This is how it came to me.
Original Window Sticker
Car had a valve adjustment and shocks with full PPI. All work is done at Dennis Shermans in La Mesa California. Shermans is very well known in the Porsche community here in San Diego County
I did notice the typical area on the headliner corner next to the sunroof is a little damaged over the 24 years of the sunroof panel going back and forth. To be up front I am keeping my '86 as my friend who sold it to me would have me killed if I let it go. By the by this '84 had two PPI's done on it. One in Tucson by an independent Porsche shop and here in San Diego County.
I can send pix if interested. 21K or best.
No, I am not a dealer. Thanks all, Mike.

I did manage to change the avitar to '84 Coupe......

Hi Mr. Z, this came from the window sticker. In '86 this color was called Garnet Red. It is a metalic. I have not seen one with this color in person before, it is quite striking. I should have added it has its optional floor mats to cover the carpet and comes complete with the typical stone chips in front. The mats read Made in West Germany. What a horrilbe time to try and sell anything. In the mean time I will drive "Felthauser", the 356, just the way he is. Bad paint and all.

Looks to be the same color as my 84. Ruby Metallic.
Excellent example -- good luck with the sale.

An update..........not one call.......notta......nothing. So thats it, garage queen it is. If it would have been a 356 it would have gone faster than a case o' condoms at my old Army base.

LOL! I put my gorgeous '82 SC on eBay quite a few months ago. It was a well-worded ad with many good pictures. I got zero bids. I put it on a second time, somebody bid about $7500 for the car, and I got a couple of e-mails that were just distress-sale bargain hunters.

Fortunately I didn't have to sell the car, and now I'm darn glad that I didn't! At $12K it would have been a "they win, I lose" transaction. Couldn't see any point in that.

I'm leaving to have my bi-annual smog test done in about an hour...

Obviously the market is very weak right now. The economic situation combined with time-of-year are both conspiring against you. The description reads like a very nice car. The asking price sounds very reasonable based on the description. Just hold on, the market will eventually improve.

Maybe some of this financail turmoil will pass in the next few months, and people won't have a deathgrip on their wallets? Try again in Spring, you never know.
